1Clubs and Parties

Party on NYE

Going out clubbing has a whole different meaning when in Goa. Take a walk down the famous Tito’s lane and you’ll know what we’re talking about. Stacked with clubs and pubs, in this part of Goa, you can enjoy everything from unlimited dancing to cocktails and shots, international artists, DJs and fire performers, light shows, delicious food, shopping, and a lot more. Besides the legendary Mambos and Titos, you also have others like 9 Bar, Marbella Beach Resort, Antares and Hill Top to relatively newer ones like Bo-Tai and Soro, the clubs and parties of Goa are truly amongst the best in the world. You haven’t really partied hard unless you’ve partied in a club in Goa.

2Distilleries

Goa is home to 100’s of distilleries – from homegrown Indian brands to international giants – here you can experience not just the alcohol, but the journey of its making. Right from whiskies like Paul John and Woodburn’s to Gins like Greater Than, Tickle, and Stranger & Sons to rums and feni’s, Goa is home to several stills and distilleries that have made a name across the world. When in Goa, the best part is that you can now enjoy a complete distillery tour of these distilleries to understand, watch and experience the process of making all your favourite alcohol brands.

3Local Liquor

Local-Liquor

Probably one of the few places where the local liquor is famous enough to make people travel to Goa exclusively for it! Feni, Goa’s local cashew liquor is made in a fascinating way. From the sourcing of the cashew fruit to the fermentation process, you can witness it all in Goa. You can now find many brands that manufacture this local feni. Tinto and AnI Ek Feni are some of our favourites. If feni is not your preference, you can surely try some freshly made Urrak or a pint of King’s beer to get into that proper Goan party vibe. Goa also has a ton of local drinking pubs and joints, which have retained their old-school charm even in 2023. You can get a taste of that amazing drinking experience only in this beautiful state.

4Beautiful Beach Shacks

beach shacks

The sun, sand and a chilled beer in your hand – this mental picture automatically transports you to Goa. The beautiful coastline along with the Arabian Sea is dotted with shacks on tourist favourite beaches in Goa like Baga, Calangute, and Anjuna. Or the quieter, quaint shacks and eateries on Morjim, Thivim, or Palolem Beach. Enjoying a cocktail or beer on these beach shacks is a vibe in itself and something that you just can’t miss when in Goa. While the shacks remain closed during the monsoon months of the year, during the party season in Goa between November and January, you will find the beaches of Goa LIT with these watering holes and tons of patrons at them.

5India’s First Alcohol Museum

Alcohol Museum

Adding your favourite ‘Muse’ to a museum experience is Goa’s Alcohowl Museum! It’s only fair that India’s first alcohol museum is located in the sunny state of Goa. This place which is literally an encyclopedia of Alcohol is aptly named, All About Alcohol. Located in Candolim, Goa All About Alcohol is a dreamland for everyone remotely interested in the history of what they drink. 8Goa’s People!

Goa People

We have added this last on our list – but it’s the most important thing – besides the landscape and the parties and the beach – it’s the people that add magic to this little coastal place. Warm and friendly, but also fiercely protective of their culture and heritage. A responsible tourist will always be welcome by the people of Goa. They love the quiet and charm as much as they love to party.
