1Kundanbagh Haunted House

Spooky-House

This location has one of the spookiest legends associated with it; it is known as “the haunted mansion of Kundanbagh.”  According to the legend, a thief entered the home intending to rob the owners, but upon doing so, he discovered three dead women inside. The residents were a woman and her two daughters. He became distraught and called the police to report it. The woman had been dead for about six months, according to an additional inquiry. Despite this, neither the neighbours nor the locals made any reports or questions about them. There has been speculation that these women performed strange rituals every night. The three would wander around the home while lighting candles. In addition, they would hang bottles of what appeared to be blood from the verandah. The mother’s antics frequently turned people away. As a result, they received very little interaction.

Even today, young people with a sense of adventure try to break in and take pictures inside this decaying cottage. The neighbours said that this trio engaged in black magic, as they would frequently be seen carrying candles while walking around the house in black robes.

According to other tales, the neighbours, who insisted they occasionally saw the three on the balcony, were shocked to learn that they had passed away months earlier. We don’t know how much of it is real and how much is just a rumour. But we can tell you that this mansion has been included among India’s most haunted locations ever since the story surfaced.
