1Take a stroll at the MG Road Boulevard

Mg road boulevard is adorned with beautiful art installations and pretty walls which are Instagram worthy. It is almost like a marketplace or bazaar where you can shop for lots of stuff from local brands and craftsmen. You can also find a rangoli art centre along the boulevard which has artwork from artists across Bengaluru.

2Indulge in Andhra meals at Nagarjuna Restaurant

Head to Nagarjuna to indulge in a classic Andhra meal served on a banana leaf and biryani, especially the mutton and chicken biryani which is typically Andhra style. Nagarjuna, located on Residency Road, keeps you coming back for more. During lunchtime the place gets super crowded so we would suggest getting there a little early and enjoy your meal in peace. It’s a must try when in Bengaluru. 

3Grab a scoop of ice cream from Lakeview Milk Bar

Bengaluru really has some of the best ice cream parlours in the country. Lakeview Milk Bar is Bengaluru’s oldest ice cream parlour that probably set the tone for this trend we love! Lakeview is well known for its lip smacking range of ice cream sundaes. Get a slice of old Bengaluru at Lakeview Milk Bar. We suggest you get a cup of delicious hot chocolate fudge and waffles – a classic at Lakeview Milk Bar. 

4Blossom Book House for Bibliophiles 

A book lover’s paradise, Blossom Book House on Church Street which runs parallel to MG Road, is a must visit. Being one of the oldest and biggest bookstores in the city you will find all sorts of collections here and they also sell used books at a reasonable rate. 

5Shopping at adjacent Brigade Road 

Just off MG road, Brigade Road is one of Bengaluru’s most popular shopping spot. It has a mixture of high end showrooms, street shopping so you have an option of buying according to your budget. You will find hole in the wall retailers selling everything from shoes, trendy clothes, bags and more. But be prepared to bargain with them for a better price. If you get hungry while shopping you will find numerous restaurants along the way to stop for a quick bite.

6Grab a beer at Arbor Brewing Company

Bengaluru is also known for all ts amazing breweries and ;ocated near Garuda mall, Arbor Brewing Company is India’s first American craft brewery. It is the perfect place to hang out with your friends over a mug of freshly brewed beer , finger food and music after a long day. They have a range of brews available, with live match screenings, outdoor seating and everything you need to have a great time.
