Hi, I’m Khushi. Welcome to my blog on Things2do.
A couple of months back I used to be a Senior Analyst by profession, but now I am a Senior Analyst as well as a Content Creator. Here I’m going to share my story of how I decided to explore this.
Before I got into content creation, my professional life had hustle, competition, deadlines & tight corporate schedules. I found myself missing out on the little things that give me joy. I wanted to explore my fondness to learn & challenge myself every single day. As clichèd as it sounds, I took a trip to Himachal in April, just to realize my passion for new adventures, experiences & foooood!
It wasn’t thought from then on, I was ready to experiment, take upon a career path where I can work & have fun side-by-side.
To make this happen, I started creating content on Instagram. In just a week’s time, I got many reviews from my acquaintances appreciating my efforts. Well, this marked the beginning of it all.
I visited my first property in Karjat-which is a campsite with a beautiful stream & waterfall nearby. We danced, played games & watched Bollywood movies all night, it was super fun. If you’re looking for a place to make new friends & have an experience full of mesmerizing views at all places, Camp Curlies is the perfect spot for you.
I then explored a private pool luxurious staycation having serene views, delicious food & a peaceful atmosphere to escape the city chaos. This one is Resort Anand, beautifully hearted in Nashik amidst lush greens & is one of the largest staycations I have been to.
5 Staycation Experiences near Mumbai that sealed the deal for me to be a Content Creator!
1The Outpost – Alibaug
In the span of September and October, I visited some incredibly relaxing properties where I took a pause; stood still. I heard the sound of the birds, chased butterflies & let my hair loose without even caring about it. I visited a massive retreat resort with premium suite rooms, meditation center and many multi cuisine restaurants inside the property. I absolutely loved the tree house where you could sip your evening coffee & relish this forest covered beauty to its fullest. I would highly recommend The Outpost, Alibaug which you can easily set foot in via a ferry from Mumbai within an hour.
2Irayos – Dahanu
Taking a moment to appreciate the earth-inspired rooms & wellness lifestyle which revolves in Irayos, Dahanu. It has extremely detailed cottages with modern amenities & it just feels like home. This retreat staycation offers farm grown Satvik food with amazing hospitality. Their Bathrooms are just phenomenal in terms of concept & features. It also has an abstract shaped pool to soak in & is an isolated getaway to enjoy with friends, family or your partner.
3Vihang Vihar Resort – Saphale
Another experience that has my heart is Vihang Vihar Resort located 3-4 hours away from Mumbai. It has a beautiful Glass House facing the stream where you can enjoy boating, fishing & so much more. It has access to a private beach which is unexplored & has black sand all around. This resort also offers toy train rides, unlimited buffet & numerous activities to indulge in. I would definitely recommend this agro-farming resort for a relaxing family getaway.
4Saya Grand Resort – Thane
My recent staycation is located extremely close to Mumbai called ‘Saya Grand Resort’ in Thane. It was a huge. Creators event where I met other creators having different niches & learned more about their experiences. This resort has multiple accommodations, is couple-friendly & takes you to another level of luxury with a Pool Suite room! This room is alluring at every corner with so much detail, its surreal canopy bed & an ensuite private pool. Saya is just perfect to have a weekend away with your loved one, having a cozy night in & enjoying a really delicious chocolate milkshake at midnight together, maybe?
To sum it up, I have been exploring not only stays but also many restaurants in & around Mumbai. The life of Content Creation truly teaches you to push forward, challenge your limits & also bring out the creativity in you. I have learned so much about the people who truly want to see me grow & even the ones who were just beside me till the point where I had my potential unexplored. Life has a way of teaching you meaningful lessons at the right moment, I guess. Adventure, adrenaline & a lifetime goal of traveling across the globe, I am not going to stop.
I am going to explore more of such places, bit by bit & present it to the world the way I see it – close to nature, unfiltered & always adventurous.
This is your sign to go on that trip you’ve been planning for. To be that person you are inside your head. To love, live & be free. Hope my journey entertained you & gave you an insight of my recent beautiful experiences that you can choose to have too. See me & much more here.
Thankyou for reading through, just love & hugs.
